The vision of the bar was to make it both modern and classic, warm and comfortable. The concept of the bar is the 1920s Art Deco library inspired by the American Prohibition period. The style is characterized by vertical lines and angular details.
In the project, we extensively used triangular and rectangular geometric designs. The style helped us conceptualize a mood board consisting of clear mirrors, matte polished Nagpur teak and highly polished rose gold metal. The interplay of this limited palette with geometric patterns would bring a sense of drama and impact to the project.
Light is one of the most important elements in our design. It was conceptualized to be indirect light, gentle, and would aid in the interplay of the mirrors.
